Birthday

December 17, 2013 Just returned from my crafting group holiday breakfast at cafe in Riverwalk. We exchanged gifts. They surprised me with a birthday cake and birthday gifts. It was very sweet of them. I really enjoy sitting there and crocheting and listening to chit chat. Maryanne,my friend, has been diagnosed with breast cancer. My other friend Stephanie had surgery on lung for suspicious X-ray. They think she is clear but won't really know until pathology comes back. My brother Jac is having surgery on the 30th for atrial fibrillation. I pray for him. My friend Bette just phoned to say she had mammogram and they want her back in to test again. She got sick yesterday and is not feeling well. I will pray for her also. I need some happy news coming this way for a change. Charlie is no longer walking Alberto because his hips are bothering him. He has been wonderful to us for the past 4 years. Just wish him well. Of course Alberto really misses him. Will have to keep him busy. Beautiful weather here. In mid to high 70's and no humidity. Fabulous.

Have not written for a long while. A lot has happened since then. Have moved back to Florida since then and tried to fashion a life for myself. It has not been easy and as I see myself getting older and older it is harder and harder I have a new puppy now three years old and he has kept me going. His name is Alberto and he is a Volpino Italiano he is very smart and I have to get up early to stay ahead of him. I think he must stay up nights trying to outsmart me. He knows more people where we live than I do. He has a good friend Charlie that he goes on walks with each morning and they seem to know quite a few people. Will write more later.
